Prerequisites
- Intermediate knowledge of information security concepts, at least on the level required to pass the CompTIA Security+ exam
- Multi-year practical technical experience in networking, systems administration and/or security
CompTIA further recommends that individuals seeking the certification should have 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience performing penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, and vulnerability management
